Gymnastics Club Terms & Conditions

By booking a place at our gymnastics club, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

Membership & Notice Period

  • A minimum of one month's email notice is required if you wish to cancel your child's place at the club.
  • Fees remain payable during the notice period, whether or not your child attends classes.

Fees & Payments

  • Fees must be paid by the due date to secure your child's place.
  • Failure to make payment may result in your child's place being suspended or offered to another gymnast.

Refund Policy

  • No refunds or credits will be given for individual missed classes, including absences due to illness, holidays, family commitments or other personal circumstances.
  • Refunds for a full course/block of sessions will only be considered if at least two week's notice is given before the course begins.
  • Once a course has started, fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

Missed Classes

  • We are unable to offer make-up sessions for missed classes unless agreed at the club's discretion.

Medical Information

  • Parents/guardians must inform us of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries or additional needs that may affect participation.It is the parent's responsibility to keep this information up to date.

Safety

  • Gymnasts must follow the instructions of coaches at all times.
  • Any behaviour that puts themselves or others at risk may result in the gymnast being asked to sit out part of the session or, in serious cases, have their membership reviewed.

Clothing & Personal Belongings

  • Appropriate gymnastics clothing should be worn.
  • Long hair must be tied back and jewellery removed before taking part.
  • Personal belongings are brought to the venue at the owner's risk.

Photography & Social Media

  • From time to time, photographs or videos may be taken for coaching or promotional purposes. Permission will always be requested separately, and you may opt out at any time.

Class Cancellations

  • If we need to cancel a class due to circumstances within our control, an alternative class, credit or refund will be offered where appropriate.
  • We are not responsible for cancellations caused by events beyond our control (such as severe weather or venue closures), although we will always aim to provide an alternative where possible.

Changes to Classes

  • We reserve the right to change coaches, class times or venues where necessary. We will give as much notice as possible.

Liability

  • Every reasonable care is taken to provide a safe environment and all coaching staff are appropriately qualified and insured.
  • Gymnastics is a physical activity and, while every effort is made to minimise risk, participation is at the gymnast's own risk.

Parent/Guardian Declaration

I confirm that:

  • The information I have provided is accurate.
  • I have read and agree to the Gymnastics Club Terms & Conditions.
  • I understand that one month's notice is required to cancel my child's place.
  • I understand that refunds are not given for missed individual classes and that refunds for a full course require at least one week's notice before the course starts.
  • My child is fit to participate in gymnastics, and I will inform the club of any changes to their medical information.
